This is a well-structured, dry, fruity merlot, produced in small quantities by a Grand Cru Chateau in Sauternes.
Perfect with pasta dishes, pork, turkey, and cheeses.

This beautiful Château produce a very special Pouilly Fumé from their Sauvignon wines which thrive on the
gravel, flint and limestone soil of the property.
This is stunning full-bodied fruity, dry and flinty wine with hints of citrus fruits and leafy blackcurrant.
Perfect with oysters, salmon, prawns and scallops.
1 bottle 2004 Château Canset de la Tour, Grand Cru St.Emilion
Chateau Canset de la Tour is situated on a plateau with a soil rich in gravel and sand, which is the ideal medium for cultivating merlot (80%) and cabernet franc (20%). Traditional methods are used in the vineyards, and the grapes are harvested carefully by hand rather than by machine. The wine is fermented in temperature controlled vats, and then matured in oak casks for 18 months before bottling. This is a lovely aromatic claret. It has plum fruit with hints of herbs and gentle tannins.
